Information We Collect
1. Orders & Accounts
When you place an order or create an account we collect your name, billing and delivery address, email address, phone number and order history. Trade account applications additionally include your company name and company/VAT number.
2. Payments
Card payments are processed securely by our payment providers. We never see or store your full card number — we only receive confirmation of payment and the last four digits for order reference.
3. Enquiries & Marketing
If you contact us or subscribe to our newsletter we keep your message and contact details. Marketing emails are only sent with your consent, and every email includes an unsubscribe link.
4. Website Usage
With your cookie consent we collect anonymised analytics about how the site is used (pages visited, device type) to improve the shopping experience. See our Cookie Policy for details and controls.
How & Why We Use Your Data
We only use your information where the law allows us to:
- To fulfil your order (contract) — processing payment, arranging delivery, providing receipts, handling returns and warranty claims.
- To run your account (contract) — login, order history, saved addresses and trade pricing where approved.
- To respond to you (legitimate interests) — answering enquiries and providing customer support.
- To send offers (consent) — newsletters and promotions you have opted into; you can withdraw consent at any time.
- To keep the site safe (legitimate interests) — fraud prevention, security monitoring and service improvement.
- To meet legal duties (legal obligation) — tax, accounting and consumer-law record keeping.
Who We Share It With
We never sell your personal data. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us run the business, under contracts that protect your information:
- Couriers and delivery partners — to deliver your order and send tracking updates.
- Payment processors — to take payment securely.
- IT and hosting providers — to run the website, email and backups.
- Review platforms (such as Trustpilot) — if you choose to leave a review.
- Professional advisers and authorities — where required by law.
How Long We Keep It
Order and invoice records are kept for 6 years to meet UK tax and accounting rules. Account details are kept while your account is active. Marketing preferences are kept until you unsubscribe. Enquiry emails are kept for up to 2 years. When data is no longer needed it is securely deleted.
Your Rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data, or ask us to delete it.
- Restrict or object to how we use it, including for marketing.
- Receive your data in a portable format.
