At Ecobrite Limited, we want to keep our customers happy. In unfortunate circumstances, where you are not happy, please see our returns & exchange policy below.

A) Online Purchases

Ecobrite Limited offers a full refund for any unused products purchased online through our URL www.ecobriteled.com, as long as our returns procedures are adhered to.

1. The customer must notify Ecobrite Limited by emailing info@ecobriteled.com that you wish to make a return within 14 days of your purchase.

2. Within your email, you must give the full product code and specification, your delivery address, invoice number, your reason for return and the date you purchased the product.

3. Products must be unused and packaged as you received them. We cannot accept any returns of products that have been used as we will not be able to re-sell them.

4. From the date of notifying us of your return, you have no more than 14 days from that date to return the product(s) to our main store below.

 

B) In-store Purchases

If a product purchased in-store is not suitable, you may request an exchange or a credit note within 14 days of purchase, provided the conditions below are met. Credit notes are valid for 6 months, and all returns, exchanges, or credit notes are subject to a 10% restocking fee.

Conditions for exchange or credit note:

The product must be unused and in its original condition, including all packaging and tags.

Proof of purchase (such as a receipt) is required. Without proof, we cannot provide an exchange or credit note. This does not affect your statutory rights under UK law.

We cannot accept returns or exchanges for bespoke or specially assembled products, or display items.

Under UK law, we are not obligated to offer an exchange or credit in the following circumstances:

The customer knew the product was faulty at the time of purchase.

The product was damaged by the customer during an attempted repair, or if an unqualified technician was used (though the customer may still have the right to a repair or replacement).

The customer cannot provide the certificate from a UK-qualified electrician, where applicable.

Receipts are mandatory for processing exchanges or credit notes. Returned products must be unused and in their original packaging. Used products will not be accepted for return or exchange. A 10% restocking fee will apply to all returns, exchanges, and credit notes.


C) Faulty Products (In-store/Online)

We apologise if you have received a faulty product from Ecobrite Limited. The returns process differs depending on whether the purchase was made online or in-store.

i) In-store Purchase

Please notify us of any faults within 7 days by emailing info@ecobriteled.com. If the fault is reported after this period, we will advise on the available warranty options.

Faulty products must be returned to our main store within 30 days of the purchase. Bulbs are not covered.

Ecobrite Limited reserves the right to a 4-week period for repairing or replacing faulty products. If the product is out of stock, this period may extend to 6 months.

It is the customer’s responsibility to uninstall and bring the product to the store.


ii) Online Purchase

For faulty online purchases, please notify our admin team at info@ecobriteled.com. Returns must be made within 30 days to qualify for a full refund, minus a 10% handling fee, provided the product is undamaged.

For returns after 30 days, we offer a repair or replacement guarantee. We reserve a 4-week period to repair or replace faulty products, which may extend to 6 months if the product is out of stock.

For postal returns, Ecobrite Limited will cover or refund the postage costs. If our return instructions are not followed, we cannot be held liable for the postage.


Deposits

Advance payments are subject to cancellation charges. If an order is cancelled, Ecobrite Limited is entitled to retain an amount sufficient to cover any incurred costs or loss of profit. Non-refundable deposits will be a percentage of the total price.

For in-stock products, deposits must be paid in full, and the product collected within 14 days unless otherwise agreed. If the product is not collected within this time, we reserve the right to cancel the order and retain the deposit to cover business costs.


Disclaimer

This policy complies with your rights under UK consumer law. Ecobrite Limited reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet the conditions outlined and may amend the terms of this policy at any time.

All product warranties are provided by the manufacturer. Ecobrite Limited reserves a 4-week period to repair or replace faulty products, extendable to 6 months if the product is out of stock. Warranties are only valid if the product has been installed by a UK-qualified electrician, as per our guidelines.

We do not accept returns or exchanges for bespoke or specially assembled products or display items.
